This page sets out in an overview the public music series taking place in the UK in 2025. For more information and to buy tickets please go to the What’s On page. Events normally go on sale 3 months before each event.
Concert series are being commenced in Lancaster, Kendal, Cambridge, Royal Tunbridge Wells and Bristol to spread Music in Action’s work to the UK. These will combine concert series with schools workshops initially. Each ticket you buy will help develop a child through the power of music.

A concert of classics with the English Chamber Orchestra from Mozart’s Divertimento in Bb, Bach’s E major violin concerto, to Vivaldi’s Spring from the Four Seasons directed by and starring violin soloist Harriet Mackenzie.
11 September 2025 - Vaughan Williams’ The Lark Ascending - Trinity Chapel - English Chamber Orchestra
A concert of classics with the English Chamber Orchestra from Mozart’s Divertimento in D, the Lark Ascending and La Stravaganza directed by and with soloist Harriet Mackenzie.
7 November 2025 - Xuefei Yang - Trinity Chapel - Spanish Classics
A concert of spanish classics with globally acclaimed guitarist Xuefei Yang performing works by the great spanish composers include Sarasate, Rodrigez and de Falla with guest violin soloist Harriet Mackenzie.

A concert of classics with the English Chamber Orchestra from Mozart’s Divertimento in Bb, Bach’s E major violin concerto, to Vivaldi’s Spring from the Four Seasons directed by and starring violin soloist Harriet Mackenzie.
18 June 2025 - 5-6pm and 7-8pm - Classics by Candlelight
Two concerts in an extraordinary evening of classical music at St Hilda’s College, featuring the breathtaking prize-winning pianist Nikolai Medvedev (“deeply imaginative”) and Harriet Mackenzie playing classical masters from Bach to Chopin in the first show and English masters from Elgar to Dodgson in the second.
27 September 2025 - Sir Willard White and the Celoiatus Ensemble - Magdalen Chapel
Sir Willard White, Grammy winner and opera legend performs folks songs, spirituals and show tunes at Magdalen College Chapel.
Events - Festivals
12th to 15th November 2025 - International Guitar Festival in Jersey
4 days of guitar maestros including legendary guitarist Xuefei Yang , Django Reinhardt style classic jazz from Tim Kliphuis and his band and a well known flamenco guitar to be announced.
9th to 18th May 2025 - Liberation International Music Festival
A week of musical performances from recitals by Kate Royal to Harriet Mackenzie, chamber music, jazz with Jason Rebello and a theme of “escape”.
Genius Concerts
A series of intimate concerts in “money can’t buy” locations. Performers include legendary singer Sir Willard White, Xuefei Yang, Sophie Bevan and many more.
