Liberation International Music Festival 2025
Music in Action is delighted to prepare for the Liberation Festival 2025 in the beautiful island of Jersey. This will include orchestras, opera, chamber music, and theatre including commissioning a new work from Flora MacAngus about the life of heroines Claude Cahun and Marcel Moore in the second world war. Featuring a piano trio of international soloists and actor Flora MacAngus, experience the sublime artistry and words about this remarkable life.

With a theme of escape and celebration, the 2025 Jersey Festival offers a feast of music offering emotions of sorrow to joy through music. From Grammy winning jazz artists, internationally renowned classical stars, to talented young artists, enjoy captivating music in stunning locations across the beautiful island of Jersey.
In the Festival we fundraise to enable outreach projects to benefit lives in the community using the power of music.

MUSICAL WALK - ROZEL
Starting from the Rozel Inn, come and enjoy a guided musical walk around the beautiful surroundings of Ouaisne to St Brelade’s Bay and the fabulous Churchill Gardens serenaded by sax soloist Matthew Lombard and friends. Music includes Bach, Amy Beach and the great Histoire du tango. A walk leader leads with historical insights.

LIBERATION CHAMBER GALA

An enchanting evening of dinner and chamber music at the Jersey Museum with celebrated soloists from the Lincoln Centre New York with Wu Qian (piano) and friends. Sonorous and joyous Piano and string Trios are celebrated by Rachmaninov and Beethoven, and Dvorak’s great masterpiece, the brilliant piano quintet.
